This policy applies specifically to nurses, clinicians, and independent healthcare professionals using the Nudge Flex platform.

This Policy does not govern patient privacy practices of independent clinicians.

A. Account & Contact Information

  • Full name

B. Professional & Licensing Information

  • Nursing license number

  • License state(s)

  • License expiration date

  • NPI number (if applicable)

  • DEA number (if applicable)

  • Certifications (IV certification, ACLS, etc.)

  • Uploads of professional documents

Nudge does not store full bank account or payment processor credentials where third-party services are used.

Location tracking may occur while logged into the app or while sessions are active.


F. Device & Usage Data

4. Health Information Access

As an independent clinician, you may access patient health and wellness information through the Platform.

You acknowledge:

  • You are independently responsible for complying with HIPAA and applicable privacy laws.

  • Nudge acts as a technology platform and may operate as a business associate where required.

  • You must access PHI only as necessary to deliver services.

Nudge does not sell PHI.


5. How We Share Information

We may share information with:


A. Service Providers

Hosting providers, background check vendors, credentialing partners, analytics providers, payment processors, and communication platforms.


B. Regulatory or Legal Authorities

When required by law, subpoena, investigation, or safety concerns.


C. Medical Director / Oversight Providers

Where required for compliance or quality assurance.


D. Payment & Tax Partners

To process payments and issue tax forms.


E. Business Transfers

In connection with mergers, acquisitions, or financing.


We do not sell personal information.

You are responsible for:

8. Independent Contractor Data Responsibility

  • You are an independent contractor.

  • You are responsible for compliance with all applicable privacy laws.

  • You must not download, copy, or retain patient data outside authorized workflows.

Improper access or disclosure may result in termination and legal action.


9. Location Tracking Disclosure

The Nudge Flex app may collect location data:

  • While the app is in use

  • During active sessions

  • During dispatch and routing

Location data is used for:

  • Safety

  • Compliance

  • Operational logistics

  • Fraud prevention

You may disable location services; however, doing so may limit functionality.


10. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:
